The fee is taken in the chain's native token — ETH, POL, BNB, SOL, BTC, TRX — before the migration runs. If a chain's native balance is too low for the fee to be worth collecting, that chain migrates free.
Yes. Migration is mnemonic → mnemonic. You paste the source phrase (the wallet you're emptying) and the destination phrase (the new wallet). This keeps the signing path uniform across all four families and means you don't have to connect hardware or approve popups.
No. Migration is not a sweep. Tokens stay as themselves: your PEPE stays PEPE, your USDT stays USDT. They just end up in the new wallet instead of the old one.
Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, and BNB for EVM. Plus Solana, Bitcoin, and TRON as their own families. That's the same set the Sweeper tool supports, minus XRP Ledger (which is planned for v2).
We sponsor it. If the source wallet's native balance is too low to complete the migration on a chain, and the wallet as a whole is worth more than $500, we send it enough gas to finish and take 15% of the native balance instead of 10%. If the wallet is worth under $500 and can't pay its own gas, we skip chains that need sponsorship — but chains with enough native still migrate (10% rate).
Tokens worth under $1.00 are skipped. Moving a $0.03 token costs more in gas than the token is worth. They stay in the source wallet. If you want to move them anyway, they're spendable later from the source — or use Sweeper's sweep tool, which handles dust differently.
Every transaction is isolated. If one token fails to transfer, the rest still complete. You'll see a detailed report at the end showing what moved, what failed, and why. The migration ID is shown so you can contact support with specifics.
No. Both phrases are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted. You can verify by opening DevTools → Network tab during a preview — no request carries any part of your phrase.
Sweeper's sweep tool consolidates everything to USDC at a destination address you choose — great for "cash out to one place." Migration keeps your assets as-is and just moves them to a new wallet. Use sweep when you want to exit; use migrate when you want to relocate.
No. Migration requires both sides to be pasteable mnemonics. Hardware wallets and browser extensions aren't supported because they can't sign Solana and Bitcoin from a single flow. If you want to migrate from a Ledger or Trezor, use the mnemonic method instead — the seed phrases are the same.
